Religious Views

I generally identify with the Anglo-Catholics. As a catechumen I was tutored by a Church of England Anglo-Catholic vicar (later also a canon) and I was for a few years a member of the congregation of a thoroughly Anglo-Catholic church. I was not in England during the Anglicanorum Coetibus malarkey and so I am not a Roman Catholic, although the bishop who confirmed me as well as that vicar now both are.

Despite not being a Roman Catholic, I am an oblate of the Congregation of Discalced Clerks of the Most Holy Cross and Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

My doctoral school is unofficially Plymouth Brethren.

Political Views

I’ve been described as “just a fascist” but I usually say I’m “basically an extremist” as my views are generally those of the lunatic fringe but are not predominantly either left or right wing. If pushed for a specific label, I would claim to be a High Tory. According to some, they no longer exist. Make of that what you wish.

Less seriously, I’m the leader of the Kill Everything Party in Ladonia which describes itself as pacifist.
